Austria – Hydrogen Infrastructure: Storage Systems for Hydrogen, Nitrogen and Oxygen
Overview
The rapidly growing hydrogen sector in Europe places the highest demands on safety, quality and technical precision. N-thalpie supported a leading hydrogen initiative in Austria by supplying a complete, safety-critical storage system for a well-known customer.
Scope of Supply
As part of the project, N-thalpie was responsible for the design, engineering and manufacturing of the following components:
- Hydrogen storage tank
- Nitrogen storage tank
- Oxygen storage tank
The entire project was carried out fully in accordance with ASME standards. In addition, the scope of work included:
- Comprehensive mechanical, structural and thermodynamic calculations
- Design of safety-critical components for operation with industrial gases
- Preparation and handover of the complete engineering and project documentation to the customer
Project Status
The plant is currently in the commissioning and ramp-up phase. N-thalpie is supporting the process on site and is actively involved in the integration, fine-tuning and optimisation of the systems.
